Aaron Holland Named to ABCA Gold Glove Team

Warhawks Catcher recognized as the top defensive catcher in Division III

Aaron Holland (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Gold Glove Team as a catcher.

The Gold Glove Awards are presented annually by Rawlings and selected by the ABCA. These prestigious awards, representing the nation's best defensive players, are chosen by the ABCA All-America Committee for each Division. Holland was selected as the best defensive catcher in NCAA Division III by the ABCA for the 2026 season. 

During this season, Holland threw out 20 runners for a 48.7% caught stealing percentage, one of the highest in the nation out of qualified catchers. Holland only allowed two passed balls this season, recording 331 put-outs and 40 assists, tallying a 99.2% fielding percentage during the 2026 campaign. 

Aaron Holland (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) started as the Warhawks catcher in 46 games this past season. In his three years as a Warhawk, Holland has started in 149 games out of a possible 161 as the catcher.
