Lee, Lindow Recognized as Academic All-Americans by CSC

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis was represented by Cassie Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) and Mackenzie Lindow on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American teams.

The title Academic All-American is reserved for student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their sport and in the classroom. Only a select group of student-athletes advance from Academic All-District submission status to the Academic All-America ballot.

Lindow, a third-team selection, achieved a 4.00 GPA in both her undergraduate and graduate classes in Special Education.

Lee also garnered a third-team selection, achieving a 3.89 in Human Performance. Lee competed in the NCAA Division III Individual Tournament as a junior this year, representing the Warhawks in the 32-person bracket.

The most recent Academic All-American for the Women's Tennis program was Courtney Day (Oshkosh, Wis./North) in 2023, Cole Lindwall was honored in 2023 for the Men's Program as well. Lee and Lindow mark the sixth and seventh honor for the Women's Tennis program. Out of all NCAA Divisions, UW-Whitewater is one of 12 schools to have three selections to the Academic All-American team in the past two years.
