The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Women's Golf team capped off the Midwest Invite with a first-place finish out of 33 teams over Friday-Saturday, September
The Warhawks combined for a 623 over the Invite, with
Kallie Lux (Janesville, Wis./Craig) leading the way with a 148. Lux shot a team-best 74 in the first round and matched that in the second round.
Lily Sheppard (Sherwood, Wis./Kaukauna) had the top mark for the Warhawks in the second round with a 72 with six birdies.
The Warhawks will compete next weekend (Friday-Saturday, September 30-October 1) at the Mad Dawg Invite in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
