The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Women's Tennis team welcomed some good competition for their Warhawk Fall Invite. Division I to NAIA schools from around the Midwest competed in six different singles draws and three doubles draws.

The Warhawks finished the tournament with one gold, two silvers, four bronze, and three consolation champions over the nine draws. 

Sarah Ferguson (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) advanced to the championship in the #5 singles bracket after defeating Audrey Zoetman (Olivet Nazarene), 8-0 and Rebecca Geiger (Roosevelt), 6-3, 6-4. Ferguson met up with Heather Hintz (Saint Francis) in the championship and defeated her for the gold 6-1, 6-4.

In #4 singles, Alex Repplier (Champlin,MN/Champlin Park) lost to the eventual #4 singles champion Rafaela Luna (Olivet Nazarene) in a very close match that went 8-7(5), but bounced back over Viyaleta Hordzich (Saint Francis), 6-1 ret. and took down Hailey Haws (Olivet Nazarene) 6-3 in the first set before Haws earned the second set 4-6. Repplier won the third set tiebreaker 10-8 to earn the consolation championship. 

Ashley Adkisson (Licolnshire, IL/Stevensen) won her consolation championship match in the #5 singles bracket, after losing to Alyssa Owens (Roosevelt) in a close 8-5 match. Adkisson advanced to the comsolation championship with a bye, and defeated Audret Zoetman (Olivet Nazarene), 6-3, 6-2.

For #2 doubles, Kellie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) and Molly Asfled defeated their first two opponents before falling to Iva Stejskalova/Giorgia Cavestro from UW-Milwaukee in the championship round. The #3 doubles draw also saw a UW-Whitewater medal as Katelyn Pawlak (Green Bay, WI/Bayport) and Adkisson advanced to the final match before falling to Ximena Mercado/Fabiola Riva  from Roosevelt 6-0.
