The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's golf team registered the third-lowest 18-hole score in program history en route to winning the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite Saturday.
Elizabeth Johnson (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg) tied the program record for lowest round to finish as the runner-up.

The Warhawks cut 16 strokes off their Friday total for a 298 Saturday and a total of 612 to win the invite.
Ashton Sinak (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) topped the leaderboard with 149 after posting a 72 Saturday, tied for the second lowest round in the program record book. Johnson was just two strokes back of her teammate after posting a career-best 71 Saturday, tied for the lowest 18-hole score in program history.
Lily Sheppard (Sherwood, Wis./Kaukauna) carded a 156 (80-76) for the weekend to finish fourth followed by
Madi LaPaz (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) (78-79) with a 157.
Kallie Lux (Janesville, Wis./Craig) rounded out the winning fivesome with a 163 (79-84) to finish among the top 11.

UW-Whitewater 16 golfers competing in the invite. The Warhawks' B and C squads competed as individuals for round two on Saturday.
Abbie Reiser (Washington, Ill./Washington Community) led the group with a 158 (81-77) followed by
Emma Norton (Lanark, Ill./Eastland) with a 160 (82-78) and
Kellie Shanahan (Wauconda, Ill./Mundelein) shaved ten strokes off her round one total for a 162 (86-76) to finish in the top ten individually.
