The No. 18 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team finished 17th over the weekend at the 33-team Columbia 300 Music City Classic at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tenn.
 
The Warhawks tallied a 3-0 record in Sunday's best-of-seven Baker bracket series. The team topped Drury, Valparaiso and No. 21 Lewis in consecutive matches to move up three spots from its No. 20 seeding entering bracket play.
 
The NCAA Championship begins with regionals from April 8-10. UW-Whitewater will find out if it is selected for the national tournament during the NCAA Selection Show, which airs March 30 at 3 p.m. Central Time on NCAA.com.
