The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater swimming and diving program competed in the Wisconsin Showcase Saturday featuring a number of Division I opponents.

Zaria Terry (Madison, Wis./La Follette) had the top individual finish for the Warhawks. Her time of 24.87 was fifth in the 50 freestyle and is the tenth fastest time in program history. She was the only Division III swimmer to finish among the top six in the event. Â She added a second top 10 finish with a time of 1:02.42 in the 100 butterfly, good for ninth.

Gianna Gnewuch (Madison, Wis./Verona Area) registered three top 12 finishes individually. She was tenth in the 200 back with a time of 2:17.15. Gnewuch came in 12
th in both the 100 breaststroke (1:12.61) and 200 individual medley (2:22.20).
Gabby Sponseller (Goshen, Ind./Concord) added a pair of top 15 times including a clocking of 2:39.62 for 13
th in the 200 breaststroke and a time of 1:12.91 for 15
th in the 100 length of the stroke.

Naomi Hamerla's (Lac Du Flambeau, Wis./Lakeland Union) 2:21.99 (16
th) in the 200 backstroke and 1:05.01 (17

Ciara Hynes' (Eureka, Mo./Eureka) time of 6:01.04 (18
th) in the 500 freestyle, a clocking of 6:02.34 (19
th) for
Brianna Zimdars (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) in the 500 free, a time of 58.14 (20
th) for
Maren McDonnell (West Bend, Wis./East) in the 100 free, and
Grace Jasken's (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee) time of 2:52.16 (20
th) in the 200 breaststroke.

In the relays, the Warhawk women's 400 free relay squad including Terry,
Morgan Nabors (Spring Green, Wis./River Valley), Hynes and McDonnell touched the wall in 3:51.24 for fifth. UWW's 200 medley relay featuring Gnewuch, Sponseller, Hamerla and Terry finished sixth with a time of 1:55.34.

Dom Schlueter (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) and
Daniel Keller (Omaha, Neb./Papillion-LaVista) posted the top finishes for the Warhawk men. Schlueter was clocked in 2:00.33 for seventh in the 200 individual medley. He added an eighth-place finish in the 500 free with a time of 4:59.16 and another top 12 time of 55.04 in the 100 butterfly. Keller's 400 individual medley relay time of 4:29.65 was seventh at the meet. He was also ninth in the 200 fly with a time of 2:04.96 and posted a top 15 time of 2:05.80 in the 200 IM.

Hunter Hayberger (Sandusky, Ohio/Sandusky) touched the wall in 5:04.95 for ninth in the 500 free while adding a top 15 time of 1:50.85 in the 200 freestyle.
Jalen Stimes (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah) posted a tenth-place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:10.68. He was also 17
th in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:08.54.

Ethan Bergman (Racine, Wis./Bradford) tallied three top 20 finishes for the Warhawks. His time of 22.38 was 11
th in the 50 free. Bergman's 55.08 was 13
th in the 100 butterfly and he registered a time of 1:51.91 to finish 20
th in the 200 free.

Ethan Coons (Neenah, Wis./Neenah), 56.06 (18
th) in the 100 fly.

In the relays, UWW's combination of Hayberger, Gramer, Bergman and Schlueter stopped the clock in 3:17.85 for fifth. Gramer and Bergman were joined by Joey Wenszell and Coons for the 200 medley relay that finished sixth with a time of 1:40.05.
