KENOSHA, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's swim team began their weekend of events with a dual match against Carthage College on Friday night. The Warhawks in total captured victories in 17 of the 32 events. The men's team led the charge with a 168-126 victory, highlighted by
Dom Schlueter's (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) wins in the men's 200 and 100-yard freestyle. The women's team battled to a close 137.5-159.50 loss.
UW-Whitewater Player Highlights

Caleb Weis (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) secured first place in the Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle and followed up with another victory in the Men's 500 Yard Freestyle. Weis also contributed to the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that placed first.
Hailey Vogel (Rockwell City, Iowa/Fort Dodge) captured first place in the Women's 50 Yard Breaststroke. She also dominated in the Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke and participated in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that placed second.
Dom Schlueter (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) excelled in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle and continued his success in the Men's 100 Yard Freestyle. Schlueter was also part of the victorious Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team.
Jenna Denton (O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon) claimed first in the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly and also won the Women's 50 Yard Butterfly. Denton was a key member of the second-place Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team.
Ethan Schmohe (Sullivan, Ill./Sullivan) led the Men's 50 Yard Backstroke, securing first place, and finished second in the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke. Schmohe also contributed to the first-place Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team.
