The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team wrapped up play Tuesday at the three-day, 54-hole Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational at Sandestin Baytowne Golf Club in Miramar Beach, Fla.
The Warhawks carded a 977 (326-315-336) for the tournament to place 18th in the highly-competitive field, which included several of the nation's top teams.
Lily Sheppard (Sherwood, Wis./Kaukauna) led UW-Whitewater with a three-day total of 241 (81-78-82), good for a tie for 59th out of 108 players.
Ashton Sinak (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) totaled a 245 (81-79-85) to tie for 71st overall, while
Kallie Lux (Janesville, Wis./Craig) posted a 247 (84-79-84) to tie for 78th.
Elizabeth Johnson (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg) improved her score from Monday's second round to finish with a 251 (80-86-85), good for 85th place.
Madi LaPaz (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) finished 96th overall after tallying a 256 (87-79-90).
The Warhawks' fall season has concluded. UW-W will resume competition in late March/early April prior to competing at the NCAA Division III Championship on May 10-13 in Houston, Texas.
