Noah Jensen (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) was selected as a first team Academic All-District® honoree by the College Sports Information Directors of America based on his career statistics and accomplishments.
To be eligible for the award for the spring 2020 season, nominees must carry a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, must have been a projected starter or key reserve, must be of sophomore academic standing and must have been at their current institutions for at least one year. He helped the Warhawks sweep the WIAC regular season and tournament titles and reach the NCAA Tournament after finishing among the top five in the conference in batting average (.394), stolen bases (14), slugging percentage (.620), triples (4), runs scored (44) and home runs (5).
Jensen earned honorable mention Preseason All-America from D3baseball.com for the 2020 season, starting 6-for-15 (.400) at the plate before UW-Whitewater's season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier this week, Jensen was named WIAC Baseball Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete. He carries a 3.65 GPA and is majoring in sociology. He is a three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and a UW-Whitewater Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete.
