2020 Men's Soccer Schedule
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team has released its 2020 schedule, which will begin in September.
The Warhawks won the American Collegiate Athletic Association championship in their first season as an affiliate member of the conference last fall. The team reached the first round of the NCAA Tournament and finished the campaign with a 15-5-2 record.
UW-Whitewater hosts Marian in the second half of a women's-men's double feature at Fiskum Field on Sept. 1. The team travels to Webster (Mo.) the next day for a 7 p.m. match.
Following a trip to Olivet (Mich.) on Sept. 4, the Warhawks begin a six-match home stand Sept. 8 against Rockford (Ill.). The team then hosts St. John's (Minn.) on Sept. 12, Luther (Iowa), a 2019 national quarterfinalist, on Sept. 16, Lawrence on Sept. 17, Millikin (Ill.) on Sept. 19 and Loras (Iowa) on Sept. 23.
UW-Whitewater plays back-to-back games in Iowa to close out the month, visiting Wartburg on Sept. 27 and Loras on Sept. 30.
The Warhawks kick off October with four straight contests at Fiskum Field, taking on Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) on Oct. 4 before hosting rival UW-Platteville for the Shaymus Guinn Cup on Oct. 7. UW-W welcomes 2019 NCAA second round qualifier St. Norbert to Fiskum Field on Oct. 14, and hosts fellow ACAA affiliate member Finlandia (Mich.) on Oct. 17.
UW-Whitewater plays two of its final three matches of the regular season on the road, visiting Augustana (Ill.) on Oct. 21 and Washington-St. Louis on Oct. 25. The team closes out the month on Oct. 28 against Carroll at Fiskum Field.
Dates and location for the 2020 ACAA Championship have yet to be released.
The NCAA Tournament begins Nov. 14-15 with first and second round matches (regionals), and continues Nov. 21-22 with third and fourth round contest (sectionals). The NCAA Championship is slated for Dec. 4-5 in Greensboro, N.C.
