Re, Waite, and Breslin Make USC All-Region Team

Re Collects First Team Accolade, Waite & Breslin Third Team

Cooper Re (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), Austin Waite (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central), and Luka Breslin (Dublin, Ireland/Terenure College) were named to the All-Region IX Teams by the United soccer Coaches (USC) for their success on the field during the 2025 season.

Cooper Re (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) was selected to the First Team All-Region, the Warhawks first First Team selection since the 2016 season. Re led the Warhawks in scoring, with 16 goals and 5 assists. Re's 16 goals marks second in Warhawk Single Season history, and brought his career total up to 33, third most from a Warhawk in a career. Re was named to the USC Third Team All-Region in 2022 as a sophomore. 

Austin Waite (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) earned Third Team honors, shining as the Warhawks' keeper in a team-high 17 games played and 16 started in net. Waite made 59 saves through the season, recording 5 shut-outs and contributing to 2 combined clean sheets. Waite allowed 10 goals all season, with a 0.67 goals against average. Waite's save percentage of 85.5% ranks fifth in Warhawk Single Season history.

Luka Breslin (Dublin, Ireland/Terenure College) joined Waite on the USC Third Team All-Region. As a defender, Breslin played in all 20 games, starting in 19 for 1621 total minutes. He tallied 6 goals and 6 assists on the season, ranking second in points behind Re. Breslin scored three game-winners on the season, and was a perfect 2-for-2 on penalty kicks in game. Defensively, Breslin contributed to 9 shutouts throughout the season. As a team, the Warhawks held their opponents to less than a goal a game, at 0.85 goals per match.
