UW-Whitewater men's soccer forward
Cooper Re (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) was named a Third Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) in a release on Thursday, December 4th. Re joins former Warhawk Justin Stanko, who made the All-American Third Team during the 2015 season, as the only two in program history to earn All-American Honors.
Re's 2025 season with UW-Whitewater etched his name into the Warhawk record books. With 16 goals in a season, Re's mark sits second all-time, the most goals by a Warhawk athlete since 1998. The 16 goals were the 15th most in the nation for the 2025 season.Â
During the season, Re collected two hat tricks against Webster University (September 4th) & the University of Dubuque (October 18th), earning him WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week after both performances. Re finished the season leading the Conference in multiple offensive categories, including goals & overall points, earning him the WIAC Offensive Player of the Year award.
In his four-year career with the Warhawks, Re tallied 33 goals, the third most in program history. His numerous accolades include: three First Team All-Conference Awards (2023-C2C, 2024 & 2025-WIAC), two All-Region Awards (2023-Third, 2025-First), and now a Third Team All-American honor. Â
Re helped lead the Warhawks to a 14-3-3 record, reaching the NCAA Tournament for the 15th time in program history. As a team, the Warhawks scored 50 goals and a program-best 59 assists. UWW's 2.59 assists per game was 4th best in the nation at the Division III level.Â
