The No. 18 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team posted a 3-2 record in traditional matches Saturday on the second day of the Prairie View A&M Invitational at the International Training and Research Center in Arlington, Texas.
The Warhawks are 10th overall in the standings with a total pinfall of 9,280, good for an average of 185.6 per game.
UW-Whitewater was downed by No. 4 Arkansas State to start the day, but recovered with wins against No. 3 Nebraska and No. 6 Maryland Eastern Shore. Following a loss against No. 5 Vanderbilt, the Warhawks concluded the day with a victory over St. Francis (Pa.).
UW-Whitewater finishes qualifying with one more traditional match against No. 1 McKendree on Sunday before heading into best-of-seven Baker bracket play.
