The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team placed first at the one-day, 13-team Augustana Viking Invitational at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
In their final tune-up prior to the NCAA Championship, the Warhawks tallied a team score of 316, topping runner-up Augustana by seven strokes.

Kelly Storti (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) carded an 81 to tie for 13th.
The Warhawks' "B" team finished fourth overall with a 332 and was led by senior
Maddie McCue (Milton, Wis./Milton), who fired a team-best 76, tying her season-low, to tie for second overall.

Sabrina Schreck (New Berlin, Wis./Divine Savior Holy Angels) tied for 20th with an 84, and freshman
Billie Jo Parker (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) was one stroke back at 85, good for a tie for 25th. Freshman
Lauren Winter (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg) posted an 87 to tie for 31st, and sophomore
Bella Barbiere (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) tied for 51st with a 96.
