The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's wrestling squad concluded play at the NCAA Division III National Championships Saturday night, finishing seventh with four All-Americans.
 
The No. 14 Warhawks finished seventh with 49.5 points and finished with four placements for the event, including a silver and bronze medal at 125 and 197 pounds, respectively.
 
Junior Mike Tortorice (Wauconda, Ill./Carmel) finished with a silver medal at 125 pounds after emerging victorious in the semifinals over No. 3 seed Victor Gilva (Augsburg).  He completes his impressive junior year with a 32-3 record.

Junior Riley Kauzlaric (Coal City, Ill./Coal City) placed third for the event at 197 pounds.  After falling in the semifinals, he advanced to the third place match with a fall at 2:24.  In a rematch of his quarterfinal upset the night before, Kauzlaric yet again defeated the number one seed Etiini Udott (Centenary (NJ)) to claim the bronze medal.
 
At 165 pounds, senior Nicholas Bonomo (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) placed fifth after dropping in the semifinals to the number seven seed, only to claim his placement with a victory over the fourth seed Kyle Hatch (Wabash) to complete his career as a Warhawk.
 
In his last match as a Warhawk, senior Nick Stencel (Oregon, Ohio/Clay) claimed seventh at 184 pounds with a fall at 1:55.  He finished his season with a 19-4 record.
 
Tortorice, Kauzlaric, Bonomo, and Stencel all finished as All-Americans with their top eight finishes in the national championships.
