The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team competed in a star-studded quad against UW-Eau Claire, Augsburg University, and Loras College. The Warhawks, ranked 6th in the most recent NWCA team poll, fell to their WIAC-opponent  23-15 in the first dual, followed by a 27-9 loss to Augsburg, ranked first in NWCA poll. UWW finished the night with a wire-to-wire match against 9th-ranked Loras, but fell 22-15.

To start the match against the Blugolds, the Warhawks went down early with the first three bouts. Dominik Mallinder (Roselle, Ill./Lake Park) picked up the first win of the night for UWW with an 8-6 decision at 149. Luke Swan (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South) added another decision, with Brayden Peet (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore) scoring a tech fall in just 5:42 to put the Warhawks down by just one point. 

Gavin Kohel (River Falls, Wis./River Falls) tied the match at 15-15 with a major decision at 184, but UW-Eau Claire took the last two bouts to pull away in the conference match.

In the second dual, the Warhawks opened with Brady Phelps (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) getting a fall at 6:53 at the 125 bout. Jordan Rasof (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) followed that up with a 7-3 decision at 133, but those would be the only two wins for the Warhawks against the top-ranked Auggies. 

In the final match against the ninth-ranked Duhawks, the two 'Hawks went back & forth on the scoreboard. Late decisions from Brayden Peet (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore) & Kohel at 165 & 184 kept the Warhawks tight, but the Duhawks closed out the match with two decisions that went down to the final seconds to pull away with the victory.
