University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer junior
Brad Ludwig (Appleton, Wis./Kimberly) was named American Collegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week for games played Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
Ludwig rebounded his own missed shot and scored in the 52nd minute for the game-winning goal in the Warhawks' 2-0 triumph at Finlandia (Mich.) on Sunday. He finished with four shots, including three on goal, for the contest, helping UW-Whitewater's attack finish with 38 shots, including 15 on goal.
Ludwig is UW-Whitewater's sixth ACAA Player of the Week this season. Sophomore goalkeeper
Jake King (McHenry, Ill./McHenry West) earned Defensive Player of the Week for games of Aug. 26-Sept. 1, senior defender
Trevor Johnson (Racine, Wis./St. Catherine's) was recognized for Sept. 2-8, senior forward
Hozai Ceballos (Janesville, Wis./Janesville Craig) garnered the award on offense for Sept. 9-15 and senior defender
Garrett Morgando (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North) was named ACAA Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 16-22 and for Sept. 23-29.
UW-Whitewater enters the week with an 12-1-1 record and is fourth in the latest United Soccer Coaches North Region rankings.
