The No. 12 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team finished sixth over the weekend at the Columbia 300 Saints Invitational at Brunswick Zone in Chesterfield, Mo.
 
The Warhawks fell in their remaining traditional game against No. 24 Central Missouri by a 1003-992 score to draw the No. 6 seed in best-of-seven Baker bracket play.
 
UW-Whitewater bested seventh-seeded Lewis in four games before falling against fifth-seeded Maryville in six.
 
Senior Lauren Price (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) moved up two spots with a 226 in her final traditional game to place seventh overall with an average of 214.50. Sophomore Peyton Attig (Oak Lawn, Ill./Harold L. Richards) earned a top 10 finish with a 208.17 average, good for 10th place, and senior Emma Kuhn (Texas City, Texas/Texas City) rolled a 192 Sunday to place 21st with a 197.67 average for the weekend.
 
The Warhawks return to action Feb. 15-17 at the Stephen F. Austin Jacks Invitational at Texas Pro Bowl in Dallas.
