The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's swimming and diving combined to win eight events at UW-Eau Claire. They each fell short in winning one of their last dual meets of the season.

The Warhawk men were downed by the Blugolds 202-86 while the women fell 207.5-91.5.

Junior
Renata Schlomann (New Berlin, Wis./Divine Savior Holy Angels) led the women's team, winning the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:00.47 and the 100-yard freestyle in a 55.99. Senior
Erin Hawker (Chanhassen, Minn./Hutchinson) won the 200-yard breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:33.89. Hawker was edged out in the 100-yard breaststroke by .24 seconds, finishing the race in 1:10.83.

Other event winners of the day included
Bailey Weston (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson) and
Meredith Gustafson (Brookfield, Wis./East). Weston won the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:03.12 while Gustafson finished first in the 200-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 2:19.36.

On the men's side, freshman
Tristan Whiting (Hayden, Idaho/Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy) led the team, winning two individual events. He touched out teammate
Zach Noll (Peoria, Ill./Dunlap) in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in a time of 5:00.63. Whiting also won the 1000-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 10:23.32.

Chandler Lewis (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) added to the men's wins in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing the event in 1:49.22.
