Caleb Weis (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's swim team was named 2nd-Team Academic All-American from the College Sports Communicators. Weis is the first UW-Whitewater athlete selected to the Academic All-American team and just the fifth selected from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
Weis, a double major in Marketing (Emphasis in Sports and Experiential Marketing) and Communications (Emphasis in Public Relations) programs, has achieved a 4.00 GPA in the classroom. Weis was recognized as the Outstanding Junior from the Communications Department in 2025 and has also placed at the top of American Marketing Association Sales Competitions. Weis placed first at the Sherwin Williams Team Sell and 2nd at the Enterprise's Perfect Pitch competitions.
Athletically, Weis has two individual 2nd-Team All-Conference accolades, finishing runner-up in the 1650 freestyle in 2026 and the 500 freestyle in 2025. Weis has an additional three 2nd-Team All-Conference recognitions from the 800 free relay, as the relay team has taken runner-up in the Conference Championship meet in all three years.
Weis also competed in the CSCAA Open Water Championship in both 2024 and 2025. In 2024, Weis finished 72nd overall, 2nd against other DIII swimmers.

Caleb Weis (Burlington, Wis./Burlington) is an active member of many on campus organizations. Weis has been the president for the past two years for UW-Whitewater's Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) organization. The organization was recognized as the Outstanding Student Organization from the UWW Communciations Department in 2025.
The CSC Academic All-American teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. To be eligible, the student-athlete must first be selected to the Academic All-District team. Then the top qualifying All-District selections are voted on by the CSC to reach the Academic All-American Teams.
