The No. 25 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team carded a 309 on the first day of the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic and stand fifth at the 16-team tournament through one round of play at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill.
The Warhawks' 309 is tied for the second-lowest one-round team score in program history.
