The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team finished fourth, posting a team score of 327, on Saturday at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling at Beloit Club Golf Course in Beloit, Wis.
The Warhawks' "B" team finished seventh with a total of 370.
Sophomore
Kelly Storti (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) lead the Warhawks with a score of 78 and finished fourth overall out of 73 players. By virtue of her top 10 finish, she was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Sophomore
CheyAnn Knudsen (Milton, Wis./Milton) tallied a score of 82 and tied for 11th with sophomore
Kristin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin).
Sophomore
Ashley Hofmeister (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower) and junior
Maddie McCue (Milton, Wis./Milton) rounded out the team with scores of 85 and 86, respectively. Hofmeister tied for 21st, and McCue tied for 25th.
Junior
Kaitlin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) lead the second UW-Whitewater team with a score of 85 and tied for 21st overall with Hofmeister.
A score of 90 tied junior
Sabrina Schreck (New Berlin, Wis./Divine Savior Holy Angels) in 31st. Senior
Hayley Jefferson (Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North) finished the day with a score of 96, finishing 44th.
Sophomore
Bella Barbiere (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) and sophomore
Taylor Scot (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) carded scores of 99 and 105 for the Warhawks, placing tied for 52nd and 62nd, respectively.
The Warhawks will compete at the Augustana Viking Invitational next weekend at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill. Competition begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, and 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 29.
