The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team stands 12th after completing the second round Sunday at the Babs Steffens Invitational at Stetson University's DeBary Golf and Country Club in DeBary, Fla.
The Warhawks shaved off 27 strokes from their first-round score and hold a two-round total of 729 (378-351) at the tournament, which includes primarily scholarship schools.

Ashley Hofmeister (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower) is tied for 57th with a two-day total of 175 (88-87). Sophomore
CheyAnn Knudsen (Milton, Wis./Milton) is close behind at 179 (96-83), good for 60th place overall.
Junior
Maddie McCue (Milton, Wis./Milton) is 60th with a 184 (94-90), sophomore
Kelly Storti (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) is 67th with a 191 (101-90) and junior
Kaitlin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) is 70th with a 205 (101-104).
