The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team pulled ahead of UW-Stout Saturday to take the lead through 36 holes on the second day of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship Presented by Culver's at Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg.
The Warhawks carded a 312 Saturday to bring their two-day total to 627 (315-312), two strokes ahead of UW-Stout (629) and 15 in front of UW-Oshkosh (642).

Ashley Hofmeister (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower) remained atop the 61-player leaderboard, finishing the day with a 150 after carding her second straight 75.

CheyAnn Knudsen (Milton, Wis./Milton) moved up into a tie for sixth after posting a 78 to bring her two-day total to 158 (80-78). Senior
Maddie McCue (Milton, Wis./Milton) cut three strokes off her first-round tally to move to 159 (81-78), good for a tie for eighth heading into the final round.

Sabrina Schreck (New Berlin, Wis./Divine Savior Holy Angels) fired a second-round 81 and heads into her final round with a 161 (80-81). Junior
Kelly Storti (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) rounded out UW-Whitewater scorers with a 162 (80-82), good for a tie for 14th.

Ashton Sinak (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) leads all individual competitors with a 159 (80-79), good for a tie for eighth place. Senior
Kaitlin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) is tied for 11th with a 160 (80-80), and junior
Kristin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) is tied for 14th at 162 (82-80).
Final round action from Reedsburg begins at 9:30 a.m. The Warhawks will be among the final teams to tee off.
