The No. 21 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team finished seventh at the three-day, 16-team McKendree Bearcat Hammer Open at St. Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights, Ill.
 
The Warhawks finished 1-2 Sunday in Baker bracket play, falling against No. 18 Central Missouri in six games and No. 5 Arkansas State in five games before besting 14th-ranked Lincoln Memorial in five games to conclude the day.
 
UW-Whitewater finished the weekend with a 7-6 record and a cumulative total of 12,315 pins, good for 186.6 per game.
 
The Warhawks head to Lynwood, Ill., next Saturday and Sunday for the Valparaiso Crusader Classic.
