The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team matched first-place UW-Stout shot-for-shot Saturday to remain three strokes out of the lead in second place at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship Presented by Culver's at Reedsburg Country Club.
The Warhawks carded a 309 Saturday for a two-round total of 631, building its lead over third-place UW-Oshkosh (643) and fourth-place UW-Eau Claire (654).
Sophomore
CheyAnn Knudsen (Milton, Wis./Milton) posted a 75, tied for the second-lowest round of any player on the day to move into a tie for second place at 155. Junior
Maddie McCue (Milton, Wis./Milton) is two strokes behind Knudsen, matching her teammate with a 75 Saturday to sit in a tie for fourth place at 157.
Sophomores
Ashley Hofmeister (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower) and
Kelly Storti (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) maintained their top 10 standing. Hofmeister carded an 80 for a two-day total of 159, good for a tie for seventh, and Storti fired a 79 to bring her total to 160, good for a tie for ninth.
Junior
Kaitlin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) is tied for 19th through two rounds with an 83 to bring her total to 167.
Sophomore
Kristin Bowe (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) is UW-Whitewater's top individual, sitting in a tie for 16th place with a 166 (79-87). Junior

Final round action begins Sunday at 10 a.m. in Reedsburg. The winner of the three-day tournament earns the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship in May.
