The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team finished third at the eight-team UW-Oshkosh Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Oshkosh Country Club.

The Warhawks carded a 358 Sunday to finish with a two-round total of 711 (353-358). Viterbo University won the tournament with a 686, followed by runner-up UW-Oshkosh, which totaled a 691.

Stephanie Stair (Milton, Wis./Milton) led UW-Whitewater with a 174 (86-88) to tie for seventh out of 45 players. Junior
Sammie Leibham (Sheboygan/North) tied for ninth with a 175 (87-88).

Claudia Rhein (Racine/Prairie) improved by four strokes on the second day to finish with a 180 (92-88) for a tie for 14th. Senior
Sarah Bregant (Sussex/Hamilton) tallied a 182 (88-94) to finish 16th, while sophomore
Kayla Asleson (Kenosha/Tremper) rounded out the team's scoring with a 193 (97-96), good for 21st.

Vivian Shoemaker (San Jacinto, CA/San Jacinto) moved up three spots to tie for 14th with a 180 (94-86) to lead the Warhawks' "B" team, which tied for fourth with a 772 (400-372).

Hannah Taylor (Glen Ellyn, IL/Glenbard South) carded a 200 (102-98) to tie for 26th.

Hayley Jefferson (Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North) rounded out scoring for the "B" team. Kelly tied for 31st with a 205 (105-100), while Jefferson jumped seven spots to 36th with a 216 (118-98).
