Pottle scored her first goal of the game, her second of the season, in the 35th minute on a pass from Carolyn Nash (Glenview, IL/Glenbrook South). Less than two minutes later Pottle struck again, this time with help from Laren Nashleanas (Brookfield/Brookfield East).

St. Catherine's fired off four first half shots but Jordan Myers (Aurora, IL/Waubonsie Valley) didn't let any slip past her, making two great saves.

Carina Krausert (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial), a freshman forward, scored her first goal of the season in the 50th minute to give the Warhawks a 3-0 advantage.

Emily Haeger (Rolling Meadows, Ill./Rolling Meadows) came into the game to replace Myers in goal and made two saves to preserve the victory, and shutout, for the Warhawks.

In four games this season the Warhawks have scored 12 goals. It took the Warhawks nine games in 2012 to amass that same amount.

The Warhawks have outshot their opponent in every game this season including a 15-7 advantage in Sunday's contest.

UW-W will travel to Marian on September 11 for a match beginning at 7:00 pm.
