The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team will open the 2013 season under the cover of darkness, facing the University of Saint Thomas in a doubleheader that will start at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7.  The game will be carried by the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network, and will be videostreamed.

UW-W is the preseason favorite to win the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and is ranked eleventh in the D3baseball.com poll.
