Jordan Stine (Merrill/Merrill ) single to begin the scoring for UW-W.
Augsburg tied the game with a single run in the second, but Whitewater came back with three in their half of the inning for all the runs it would need. UW-W collected four hits in the inning, including a RBI single by leftfielder
Matt Beyer (Janesville/Parker), a double off the bat of first baseman
Jeff Donovan (Wauwatosa/East), and as part of a double play.

Rob Coe (Appleton/North) brought in run three with a single, followed by a
Mike Kenseth (Milwaukee/West Allis Hale) RBI single and another by Beyer.
UW-W added an unearned run in the seventh, Augsburg finished their scoring with one in the eighth, and Donovan ended the scoring with Whitewater's first home run in the bottom of the eighth.
