James Zarate (Waukesha/North) was named UW-Whitewater's wrestler of the week. At the Little States Tournament hosted by Manchester College Friday and Saturday, Zarate won the title at the tournament, and earned Most Pins/Shortest Time Award. In his first match, Zarate pinned Kyle Edlund of Trine in 2:01. His second match, he pinned Coty Anderson of CC in 2:13, moving him up in the bracket. Zarate's third match was a win against Tyler Pace of the University of Chicago, defeating him 8-2 and moving him into the championship round. In the finals Zarate pinned opponent Evan Woodling of the University of Indianapolis (D II) in 1:42.

UW-Whitewater will travel to the Wisconsin Dells, for the Duals at the Dells taking place at St. Johns University (MN) Decemeber 10 at 8:00 pm.
