The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's bowling team finished 12th in a 20-team field at the Flyer Classic hosted by Lewis University in Lockport, Illinois over the weekend. 

The Warhawks posted a total pinfall of 12,735 - averaging of 179.4 per game in the 13-game span. UWW went 2-1 on Championship Sunday defeating Lewis University 4-3 (214-227, 193-221, 208-188, 221-153, 169-170, 212-158, 226-187) in the seven-game Baker series. 

Advancing to the second round, UW-Whitewater topped Alabama A&M 4-3 (196-157, 206-176, 200-226, 200-174, 175-175, 168-188, 183-166) to set up a final Baker series with Valparaiso. The Warhawks dropped their final match of the tournament in a close battle with Valpo. After falling in the first game by just two pins, 169-171, UWW responded with a 181-171 win in game two. Valpo took the third 169-160 before the Warhawks came back with two consecutive victories, 183-172, 222-207. Valpo captured the final two games of the series 168-224 and 179-185 to push UW-Whitewater to 12th.
