UW-Whitewater volleyball players
Jaedynn Evans (Kalona, Iowa/Iowa City Regina),
Alayna Jansky (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago),
Ally Longden (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) and
Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) have earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators.
The 2024 Academic All-District teams selected by CSC recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be of at least sophomore status academically and athletically and athletes must have started in at least 66% or played in at least 90% of the team's matches this season.
Evans is currently a graduate student pursuing a master's in business education with a secondary education emphasis. Jansky is working toward a second bachelor's degree as a human performance major. Longden is a senior majoring in human resource management and Weinfurt is pursuing a business foundations graduate certificate.
In addition to their success in the classroom, the Warhawks had a phenomenal campaign on the court this season. After winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, UW-Whitewater swept through the regional before finishing as the 2024 NCAA Division III Runner-up with a 31-4 record.
