Abbie Dix (Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead) has been named a Third Team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for this season.
The junior leads the nation in blocking for the second consecutive season with 164 total blocks - an average of 1.44 blocks per set. Dix's season total is second to the record she set a year ago (181) in the program record book. Offensively, Dix posted 327 kills for a total of 434 points -- fifth among all players in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
An All-WIAC pick and First Team AVCA All-Region pick, Dix was named to the All-Tournament Team for the 2025 NCAA Bloomington Regional last week.
For her career, Dix has accumulated 437 blocks, ranked sixth in UWW history, and the most for a Warhawk since UW-Whitewater Hall of Famer Carley Polk (2004-07).
