Three Warhawk volleyball players have been recognized by College Sports Communicators with 2025 Academic All-District honors including
Emma Bludgen (Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley),
Abbie Dix (Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead) and
Amanda Hillmann (Cedarburg, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran).
The 2025 Academic All-District teams selected by CSC recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be of at least sophomore status academically and athletically and athletes must have started in at least 66% or played in at least 90% of the team's matches this season.
Bludgen, a senior outside hitter and defensive specialist, carries a 3.93 grade point average in human performance. Dix and Hillmann were the mainstays in the middle this season. Dix, a junior human performance major, has a GPA of 3.66. Hillmann, a sophomore biology major, holds a 3.61 cumulative grade point average.
These three helped lead UW-Whitewater to a 26-8 record on the court this fall including a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 36th time in program history.
