The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater opened up their stacked Warhawk Fall Invite with the doubles brackets completing day 1 with singles to finish tomorrow.

The Warhawks competed against D2 Lewis, D2 Roosevelt, NAIA Olivet Nazarene, and Gustavus Adolphus.

The doubles draws wrapped up on Saturday, with the singles getting through the opening round. Megan Griswold (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) and Ashley Adkisson (Licolnshire, Ill./Stevensen) took the podium in the #3 doubles draw, winning their opening match in six straight sets. They fell in the semifinal round, but bounced back with a 6-3 win in the third place match.

On the singles side, Alex Repplier (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) and Crystina Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) both advanced into the semifinals after winning the opening round of their respective draws.

The singles competition will resume at 9 am tomorrow morning.
