The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team opened up the spring portion of their schedule with a dual match against No. 1-ranked Washington University in St. Louis. The Golden Bears took the match 7-0.

The Warhawks fell in the doubles matches, with WashU picking up the doubles point early in the match. The Bears carried the momentum forward, picking up the needed singles matches to win the match.

The Warhawks continue their spring season on March 6th, taking on NCAA Division I opponent, UW-Milwaukee. The match is set to start at 3 PM in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
