UW-W Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week (Feb. 13-19)

For the week of February 13-19:

UW-W KWIK TRIP ATHLETES OF THE WEEK:
WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD

FIELD: Gracie Holland (Marshfield, Wis./Marshfield) – Sophomore – Pole Vault

Holland continues to write her name in track and field history. Her height of 4.00 meters (13-1.5) not only won the event Friday at the UWL Indoor Eagle Open, but also broke her own program record, is the all-time best in the WIAC and currently leads NCAA Division III.
        
MEN'S BASKETBALL
UWW MENÕS BASKETBALL Trevon Chislom (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) – Junior – Forward

Chislom led all scorers in the Warhawks' win over UW-Platteville Wednesday. Chislom had the hot hand hitting 8-10 from the floor and 6-7 from the free throw line for 22 points in 32 minutes. He added three rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot to help UWW secure the #3 seed in the WIAC Tournament.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
UWW MEN'S BASKETBALL Aleah Grundahl (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) – Senior – Forward

Grundahl led UW-Whitewater last week with 21 points on 8-19 from the floor in Wednesday's loss at UW-Platteville. Grundahl hauled in six rebounds adding a pair of steals in nearly 38 minutes of action.
GYMNASTICS
SPECIALIST: Kelsey Kolhoff – Junior – Beam, Floor

Kolhoff was the top Warhawk on the balance beam and floor exercise in Friday's dual at UW-La Crosse. Kolhoff captured gold on the floor with a 9.750. In the final rotation of the evening, Kolhoff posted a 9.550 on the beam to finish fourth.
MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD
TRACK: Marlon Cystrunk (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) – Sophomore

Cystrunk helped the Warhawks to a third-place finish in the UWL Indoor Eagle Open Friday night. Cystrunk was the runner-up in 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.23, less than 0.1 seconds behind the event winner.
Shelvin Garrett II track and field head shot 2022 FIELD: Shelvin Garrett – Sophomore – Jumps

Garrett won the triple jump at the UWL Indoor Eagle Open Friday night. His leap of 14.41 meters (47-3.5) bested the competition by over five inches.
WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD
TRACK: Hannah Bilodeau (Machesney Park, IL/Harlem) – Freshman

Bilodeau led the Warhawks to a sixth-place finish in the UWL Indoor Eagle Open Friday night. Bilodeau finished tenth in the 400 with a clocking of 1:01.65. She narrowly missed the cut for the finals in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.14 in the preliminaries.
MEN'S TENNIS

Player of the Week: Cole Lindwall (Cottage Grove, Wis./Monona Grove)
Rookie of the Week: Tyler Nelson (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee)

Lindwall and Nelson bolstered a 2-0 weekend for the Warhawk men's tennis squad. In a 6-3 victory over Carthage Friday night, Lindwall and Nelson secured UWW's lone win in doubles competition taking #2 doubles 8-6. The pair won their respective singles flights with Lindwall taking #3 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 and Nelson picking up a 6-1, 6-3 victory at #4. In Sunday's 9-0 sweep of Kalamazoo College, the duo won at #2 doubles 8-5 and Lindwall captured another singles win with a 6-2, 6-1 win at #3.
