The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team is set to return to action this September for the 2022 season.
The Warhawks start the new campaign with a pair of long road trips. The team heads to Abilene, Texas, for matches against Mary Hardin-Baylor on Sept. 1 and at Hardin-Simmons on Sept. 3. UW-W then heads to Minnesota for contests at St. Scholastica (Sept. 9) and Augsburg (Sept. 10).
UW-Whitewater returns to Fiskum Field Sept. 14 to take on Luther (Iowa) before hosting the "W" Challenge on Sept. 17-18. The team faces DePauw (Ind.) on the 17th before playing either Washington-St. Louis or Rhodes (Tenn.) on the 18th.
The Warhawks then visit four consecutive in-state opponents, playing at Carthage (Sept. 21), MSOE (Sept. 25), VIterbo (Sept. 28) and UW-River Falls (Oct. 1).
All but one of UW-Whitewater's remaining matches are against Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents. UW-W hosts UW-Platteville on Oct. 5, visits UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 8 and plays its final non-conference match Oct. 11 against Illinois Wesleyan.
The Warhawks host UW-Eau Claire Oct. 15 and visit UW-Oshkosh on Oct. 19 and UW-Stout on Oct. 22. They close the regular season Oct. 29 against UW-La Crosse.
The WIAC Tournament is set for Nov. 2, 4 and 6. The winner of the conference tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which begins Nov. 11.
