Dwayne Ford (Racine, Wis./Case) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's track and field team earned All-America honors in the 100-meter dash Saturday as the Warhawks wrapped up competition at the three-day NCAA Outdoor Championships at Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, N.C.
The Warhawks recorded four points for the weekend to finish in a tie for 55th place at the national meet.
After qualifying for the race the previous day with a career-best time of 10.56 seconds, Ford placed seventh in Saturday's final with a time of 10.70. He earned the fourth All-America medal of his career and his second in an individual event.
Lucas Skaaland (Westby, Wis./Westby) and Shelvin Garrett started the day for UW-Whitewater in the triple jump, placing 11th and 15th, respectively. Skaaland tallied a distance of 46-08.00 (14.22 meters), while Garrett collected a 44-11.50 (13.70 meters).

David Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) competed in his second distance event of the week, placing 11th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:43.15.
