WGCA 2020-21 Division III Award Winners
 
Ashton Sinak (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team has been named to the 2020-21 Women's Golf Coaches Association Region 3/Midwest All-Region Team as the WGCA announced its Division III award winners.
 
Sinak, who recently completed her third year with the Warhawks, helped UW-W win its fourth consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship and place 12th last week at the NCAA Division III Championship in Lansing, Mich.
 
Sinak led UW-Whitewater in scoring average in 2021 with a 78.8 per 18 holes in 11 rounds. She won medalist honors at the Carroll Classic on April 18 and tied for first at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling on April 24. Sinak also recorded top-five finishes at the UW-Whitewater Spring Invite on April 16-17 (4th) and the WIAC Championship (T-5th).
 
Sinak led the Warhawks and tied for 31st overall out of 131 players at the NCAA Championship. She carded a 322 (82-77-84-79), which tied for the fifth-best individual 72-hole score in program history.
 
Sinak was the 2019 WIAC Player of the Year and a first team all-conference honoree.
