Eight Warhawk golfers have been recognized for their success in the classroom over the last year by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
UW-Whitewater honorees receiving recognition on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team include
Payton Schmidt (Jefferson, Wis./Jefferson),
Megan Honn (LaFayette, Ind./Jefferson),
Kellie Shanahan (Wauconda, Ill./Mundelein),
Abbie Reiser (Washington, Ill./Washington Community),
Alexa Reed (Pewaukee, Wis./Arrowhead),
Elizabeth Vanderhei (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago),
Norah Berken (Kaukauna, Wis./Kaukauna) and
Natalie Kammer (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson).
The WGCA recognized over 1,500 golfers across all three divisions of the NCAA. To be eligible, student-athletes must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and they must have played in at least 50-percent of the institution's regularly scheduled competitive rounds over the season.
