Jaclyn Fohlmeister (Lakemoor, Ill./Wauconda) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's swimming and diving team is featured in the latest edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
 
Fohlmeister currently ranks among the team's top sprinters in both the freestyle and butterfly. She recorded season bests in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 50-yard butterfly and 100-yard butterfly on Dec. 3-4 at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational. Her 50 free time of 26.76 was pulled from the 200-yard freestyle relay, while her 50 fly time (30.67) was extracted from her 100 fly time (1:06.64). Fohlmeister swam the same four events during the team's abbreviated 2020-21 season.
 
As a sophomore in 2019-20, Fohlmeister posted personal records in the 50 free (26.57), 100 free (58.83) and 100 fly (1:05.93) at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships. She collected lifetime bests in the 200 free (2:10.85) and 50 fly (30.26) as a freshman in 2018-19.
 
A member of the 2020-21 WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, Fohlmeister is majoring in elementary education with a minor in adaptive education.
