The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's & women's swim & dive teams had eight selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for their success in the classroom.
From the men's team:
Caleb Weis (Burlington, Wis./Burlington), an academic senior double-majoring in Marking & Communication.
Ethan Bergman (Kenosha, Wis./Bradford), an academic senior in Information Technology.
Daniel Keller (Omaha, Neb./Papillion-LaVista), an academic senior in Social Work. And Matthew Sipin, an academic senior in Information Technology.
From the women's team:
Jenna Denton (O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon), an academic junior in Biology.
Nikolina Gallo (Greendale, Wis./Greendale), an academic senior in Legal Studies.
Hannah Gault (Moline, Ill./Moline), an academic senior in Elementary/Middle Education. And
Lauryn Moneta (Sugar Grove, Ill./Kaneland), an academic junior double-majoring in Management & Human Resources.
The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be of at least sophomore status and carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. Student-athletes must have competed in 75-percent of the team's competitions or finish in the top eight spots in their conference meet.Â
