Kelsey Jaeger (New London, Wis./Little Wolf) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team is featured in the latest edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
Jaeger has competed in all three of the Warhawks' tournaments against NCAA competition so far this season, helping UW-W compile a 21-15 record. She averaged a 185.6 in five traditional games at Stephen F. Austin's MOTIV Ladyjack Classic on Nov. 12-14 to finish 38th in a field of 118 players. Jaeger helped the Warhawks finish as runner-up at the Warhawk Classic on Nov. 20-21.
During a shortened 2020-21 season, Jaeger posted one of her best performances of the season at Arkansas State's Mid-Winter Classic, averaging a 216 over six traditional games to finish 10th overall. She also helped the Warhawks qualify for the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championship, where they placed third overall.
As a sophomore in 2019-20, Jaeger led the team at a pair of NCAA-sanctioned tournaments, including the Columbia 300 Saints Invitational (983 / 196.60 average) and the Mid-Winter Classic (945 / 189 average). She competed exclusively at USBC-sanctioned tournaments as a freshman in 2018-19.
A three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, Jaeger is majoring in art with emphasis in graphic design and a minor in advertising. She is a graphic designer for UW-Whitewater's Dining Services.
