The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Department of Intercollegiate Athletics participated in the annual NCAA Division III Week, which ran from April 13-19.
Throughout the week, Warhawk student-athletes offered their thoughts on why they chose to become student-athletes at the Division III level and at UW-Whitewater. All submitted video testimonials were shared on UW-W Athletics social media channels throughout the week.
"I'd like to thank our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and all our student-athletes who helped share their experiences of being Division III student-athletes at UW-Whitewater," Interim Director of Athletics
Ryan Callahan said. "It takes a special person to commit to the relentless pursuit of excellence in competition, in the classroom and in their communities that our coaches expect here.
"While we wish we had been able to celebrate Division III Week here on campus, it was a testament to our dedicated student-athletes that they took time to submit their own videos to offer our fans an inside look into their choice to compete in college athletics."
