The No. 40 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team suffered its first dual loss of the season Saturday afternoon, falling 6-1 against Division I Milwaukee at Lake Geneva Tennis.
The Warhawks (8-1 overall) are coming off their 13th straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship in the fall.

Sabrina Palavra (Skokie, Ill./Niles North) were bested at No. 1.
Milwaukee took five of the six singles contests in straight sets. Sophomore
Elsie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) forced a third-set super tiebreaker at No. 5, and edged Anika Tylek 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (12-10) to account for UW-Whitewater's team scoring.
Nierman nearly took a set against Nicole Clarke at No. 1, but was edged 7-5 in the decisive second set.
The Warhawks head to St. Peter, Minn., next Saturday for duals against Augustana (Ill.) and No. 38 Gustavus Adolphus.
