The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team defeated UW-Stevens Point 4-0 in the WIAC Tournament semifinal match. The Warhawks advance on to the championship match for the 18th consecutive season. 

The Warhawks swept the doubles matches to take the early point. Abigail Weaver (Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawaka Marian) & Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) took the top flight with a 6-1 victory. The sisters Cassie Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) and Crystina Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) were able to clinch the match with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles. 

Alex Repplier (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) and Molly Asfeld (Waukesha, Wis./West) picked up the final doubles match at the third flight with a 6-4 victory. 

The Warhawks only needed three singles matches to clinch victory. Kaitlyn Remke (Johnsburg, Ill./Marian Central) was up in her first set 5-0 before a retirement gave UWW the first singles match. 

Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) picked up the next point with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles to put the Warhawks on match point. Crystina Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) was able to grab the decisive match with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles. 

The Warhawks will face UW-La Crosse in the championship match. The winner will earn the WIAC automatic-qualifying bid to the NCAA team tournament.
