The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's track and field teams continued indoor action Saturday at the Pointer Invitational in Stevens Point.
The No. 8 Warhawk men placed third at the eight-team meet with 79 points, while the women finished sixth with 35.50 points.
For the men, junior
Brian Kuehl (Geneva, Ill./Geneva), freshman
Jared Weiler (Green Bay, Wis./Preble), freshman
Justin Krause (Ixonia, Wis./Pewaukee) and freshman
Sam Uhrich (Beaver Dam, Wis./Beaver Dam) combined to win the distance medley relay in a time of 10:46.43.
Senior
Clinten Woerishofer (Appleton, Wis./North) finished as runner-up in the 800-meter run in 1:59.58, and freshman
Josh Krystosek (Palmyra, Wis./Palmyra-Eagle) finished second in the high jump with a height of 6-05.00 (1.96 meters). Sophomore
Curtis Pfeil (West Bend, Wis./West) placed second in the long jump with a 22-03.00 (6.78 meters).
Sophomore
Landon Keefover (Antioch, Ill./Antioch) and junior
Lucas Skaaland (Westby, Wis./Westby) placed 2-3 in the 60-meter hurdles. Keefover posted a time of 8.46, while Skaaland crossed the finish line in 8.59 seconds.

Madi McDonald (Brookfield, Wis./East) finished third in the pole vault with a height of 11-03.75 (3.46 meters).

Alissa Korslin (Vesper, Wis./Pittsville) crossed the finish line in 1:02.93 in the 400-meter dash, good for sixth place. Senior
Ally Bachara (Fox Lake, Ill./Grant) placed seventh in the weight throw with a distance of 48-05.50 (14.77 meters).
The Warhawks host the annual Midwest ELITE Invitational next Saturday, Feb. 15, at Kachel Fieldhouse. Events begin at 11 a.m.
